Who books a pet room
Road-trip travellers
I-75 Exit 235 is less than a mile away. Pull off, park at the door, walk the dog, sleep, and be back on the highway in the morning.
Guests relocating
People between homes with a dog to house are among the most common long-stay pet bookings here. Weekly and monthly rates apply.
Families travelling with a dog
The double-bed pet room sleeps four and takes the animal, which is a combination that is not easy to find at this rate.
Anyone who has been turned away elsewhere
Call and ask before booking. A straight yes or no on the phone beats finding out at the desk.

The room
Rooms where the dog is genuinely welcome
Crossing Atlanta with a dog is harder than it should be. Plenty of places advertise as pet-friendly and then attach conditions that only become clear at the desk. We keep designated pet rooms — smoking rooms with two double beds, and we have no non-smoking pet option — and we would rather you called first and got a straight answer than arrived and found out.
Pet rooms have two double beds and sleep up to four. They are smoking rooms; we do not have a non-smoking pet room, so if that matters to you, please ring before booking. Both have the same fittings as every room here — free WiFi with no login, cable TV, air conditioning you control yourself, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a private bathroom with towels changed daily.
The layout of the property suits travelling with an animal. Ground-floor room doors open directly onto the outside, and parking is free immediately outside the rooms, so taking the dog out does not mean a lobby, a corridor and a lift with other guests in it. Late at night that is the difference between a straightforward walk and an awkward one.
There are restrictions, and there is a pet fee. Both depend on the dog and the length of the stay, which is why the number is not printed here — call the front desk with the size of your dog and how long you are staying, and they will tell you immediately whether we can take them and what it costs.
Practical detail
What to sort out before you arrive
- Call before booking. Give the desk the dog’s size and your dates. There are restrictions and a limited number of pet rooms, so this is the call that determines whether the stay works at all.
- Pets should not be left unattended in the room. If you will be out for part of the day, say so on the phone and the desk will tell you how to handle it.
- Exterior room access and parking at the door make walks straightforward, and the lot is lit through the night.
- Everything else runs as normal: check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM, 24-hour desk, quiet hours 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, photo ID at check-in, payment at the desk.
Included in the rate
What is in the room, and why it matters
Free WiFi
No login page, no device limit and no daily charge. If you are working from the room or streaming in the evening, it is one less thing to sort out at the desk.
Free parking at the door
Rooms open directly onto the property with parking immediately outside, so luggage and tools go straight in. The lot stays lit through the night.
Air conditioning you control
The thermostat is in your room, not on a building system. Guests sleeping during the day set it how they want it.
Mini-fridge
Milk, medication, leftovers, tomorrow’s lunch. On a stay of more than two nights it stops being a nicety.
Microwave
Reheat what you brought back rather than going out again. Guests on weekly rates use it more than anything else in the room.
Cable TV
A flat-screen with cable channels, which on a long evening in an unfamiliar town is worth more than it sounds.
Private bathroom
Every room has its own, with towels changed daily and more available from the desk at any hour.
Daily housekeeping
Rooms are serviced every day. If you are sleeping days, tell the desk and we will skip yours and leave fresh towels instead.
24-hour front desk
Someone is at the desk at every hour, so arrival time is never the problem it is at properties with a check-in window.
Food delivery welcome
Drivers can bring orders to your room door or leave them at the desk. There is no restaurant on site, so this is how most guests eat in.
The area
Nearby for you and the dog
Fuel, food and supplies within about a mile, all with parking you can leave a car in for a few minutes.
- a bp with a small grocery section on Old Dixie Highway, under half a mile north
- a 24-hour Waffle House about a hundred yards up the road
- La Morena Supermarket on Tara Boulevard, a little over half a mile away and open until 9pm every day
- a 24-hour Marathon station on Old Dixie Highway, about half a mile north
Longer stays
Longer stays with a pet
Weekly rates start at seven nights and monthly at 28, and pet rooms are included on the same terms. Relocations are the most common reason guests book a pet room by the month — somewhere steady for both of you while a lease or a house completes, without signing anything. Because pet rooms are limited in number, arrange a long stay by phone as far in advance as you can.

Questions
About the pet-friendly rooms
What is the pet fee?
It depends on the length of your stay, so the desk quotes it rather than publishing a number. Call (770) 305-0300 and they will tell you straight away.
Are there size or breed restrictions?
There are restrictions. Call before booking with your dog’s size and you will get an immediate answer rather than a surprise at the desk.
Can I leave my dog in the room while I go out?
Pets should not be left unattended in the room. If you need to be out for a while, talk to the front desk first and they will tell you what is workable.
Which rooms allow pets, and are any non-smoking?
Pet rooms are smoking rooms with two double beds, sleeping up to four. There is no non-smoking pet room.
Is there anywhere to walk the dog?
Room doors open directly onto the property and parking is outside them, so getting out is quick. The lot is lit at night.
How many pet rooms do you have?
A limited number, which is why calling ahead matters — particularly for a long stay or a weekend.
Do weekly rates apply to pet rooms?
Yes, from seven nights, and monthly from 28. Quoted by phone.
What if my dog is larger than the limit?
Call and ask. It is better to know before you drive than at the desk.
Is there an extra cleaning charge?
The pet fee covers the room. The desk will explain what it includes when they quote it.
Can I bring more than one pet?
Ask on the phone. It depends on the room and the animals.
