That is worth saying plainly, because it confuses people booking. Our address is 6358 Old Dixie Highway, which can look like the wrong side of town if you have been given directions referencing Tara Boulevard. It is not. It is the same road, and the shops, restaurants and services that people mean when they say “on Tara” start within about half a mile of the front desk.
The route matters for a second reason. This is the road that carried north–south traffic through the county long before I-75 was built, which is why it runs directly past an interstate exit rather than needing a detour to reach one. Exit 235 is less than a mile north.

For a guest here for one night that is unremarkable. For a guest here for five weeks it is the entire difference between a workable stay and a miserable one.
That is why the corridor attracts the guests it does. Contractors on a multi-week job, crews working the warehouses north of here, travelling healthcare staff at the hospital two miles west, people between homes waiting on a lease. They are not choosing a location for the view. They are choosing one where the grocery shop, the laundry and the fuel are close enough that the week works without planning around them.
The businesses reflect that. La Morena Supermarket keeps going until nine every night, which suits someone finishing a shift at eight.
