By road

  • Old Dixie Highway here is US 19/41 — I-75 Exit 235 is less than a mile north
  • Head north on 19/41 for Forest Park and Atlanta; south for Tara Boulevard and Griffin
  • Free parking on site, directly outside the rooms
  • A 24-hour Waffle House and several gas stations sit at the same interchange

Without a car

  • MARTA route 192 runs this corridor to East Point station
  • Southern Regional Medical Center, Riverdale — just over a mile
  • Southlake Mall, Morrow — about 2 miles
  • Downtown Jonesboro — about 5 miles

We have wheelchair-accessible ADA king rooms, all non-smoking. Call ahead so the right room is held for you.

Pets are welcome in our designated pet rooms, with restrictions. Call before booking to confirm size limits and the fee.

Late arrivals

The desk never closes. Tell us you’ll be late and your room stays held past 8:00 PM.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so a late arrival is fine — just let us know.

Is parking free?

Yes. Free surface parking is available on the property, right outside the rooms, and the lot stays lit all night.

Is there food at the motel?

No. There’s no restaurant, bar, coffee shop or breakfast service, and we don’t sell food at the desk. There is complimentary coffee at the front desk from 7–11 AM, a mini-fridge and microwave in every room, a 24-hour Waffle House about a hundred yards away, and delivery drivers are welcome to bring orders to your door or the front desk.

Do you have rooms with accessible access?

Yes. We have wheelchair-accessible ADA king rooms with roll-in access, in the non-smoking wing. Call ahead on (770) 305-0300 so we hold the right room for you.

Can I email instead of calling?

You can, at americaninn.ga@gmail.com, but the phone is faster — especially for same-day rooms. For dates further out, the request form on our book now page reaches the desk directly.
