The property is at 6358 Old Dixie Highway in Jonesboro. On this stretch Old Dixie Highway is US 19/41 — the route that carried traffic south long before the interstate did, and which becomes Tara Boulevard heading further down. I-75 Exit 235 is less than a mile north of the front desk, so whichever direction you are coming from, you are on and off the highway quickly.

Riverdale sits west of Jonesboro on the far side of Highway 85. These are the places guests booking from that direction tend to be heading for.
The Hindu Temple of Atlanta
On Georgia Highway 85, built in the traditional South Indian style in sandstone and marble, with sculptors brought from India to carve the facade. It opened in 1990 and holds two complexes, one with Lord Venkateswara as the presiding deity and one with Lord Shiva. There is free parking at the base of the complex. Photography is not permitted inside the temples.
Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center
An open-air venue at 7200 Church Street seating up to 3,000, run by the City of Riverdale. The programme mixes free evenings — the After Work Cool Down music series and Friday Night Flicks, where blankets and lawn chairs are welcome — with ticketed concerts and festivals. Food and drink come from the vendors on site rather than a cooler.
Riverdale Regional Park
On Wilson Road, free to enter, with walking trails, a playground, a skate park, sports fields and a covered pavilion for picnics. Dogs are welcome on a lead, which makes it the obvious stop if you are travelling with one and staying in a pet room.
